Who we are

Word Sanctuary Global is a church with installations in Nigeria, across Africa, Europe, the Americas and the Middle East. This policy explains what we do with the details you give us on this website, and the choices you have.

What we collect

We only collect what you type into our forms:

• Life Class enrolment: your name, email address, WhatsApp number, where you live, whether you are a member, your installation, your department and anything else you choose to tell us.
• Prayer requests: your request and, only if you give them, your name, your installation and a way to reach you.
• Counselling: your name, email address, WhatsApp number, installation, what you would like to talk about, how and when you would like to meet, and anything you choose to tell us first.
• Testimonies: your name, email address, WhatsApp number if you give it, your installation, your story and how you are happy for us to share it.
• Contact messages: your name, email address, WhatsApp number if you give it, your installation if you choose one, what it is about and your message.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser remembers whether you chose the light or dark look, and that never leaves your device. If you tap "Use my location" on the Installations page, your location is used in your browser to sort the list and is never sent to us.

How we use it

• To place you in a Life Class and keep you up to date about it.
• To pray for you, and to reach out to you when you ask us to.
• To arrange counselling and stay in touch while it lasts.
• To thank you for your testimony and, only in the way you chose, share it.
• To answer the messages you send us.

Who sees it

Only the people who need it to help you: the Life Class team for enrolments, the pastoral team for prayer requests, counselling and testimonies, and whoever can best answer a contact message. A prayer request goes to the prayer team as well only if you say so. Counselling stays between you and your counsellor.

We never sell your details or give them to anyone for marketing. The service that receives our forms stores them for us and may not use them for anything else.

Other sites on our pages

Some pages show things from other companies: our services and sermons are on YouTube, the maps on each installation's page come from Google Maps, and "Add to calendar" can open Google Calendar. When these load, those companies may collect information under their own privacy policies.

How long we keep it

• Life Class enrolments: until a year after your class ends.
• Prayer requests: 90 days.
• Counselling requests: until a year after your last session.
• Testimonies: for as long as we are sharing them, or a year if we are not. You can ask us to stop sharing yours at any time.
• Contact messages: a year after we answer them.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the details we hold about you, to correct them, or to delete them. You can also withdraw your permission to share a testimony at any time. Write to us through our Contact page and we will reply within a month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission, to the Information Commissioner's Office in the United Kingdom, or to the data protection authority where you live.

Children

If you are under 16, please ask a parent or guardian to fill in a form with you.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we will update it here and change the date at the top of the page.
