Life Class is where every journey at Word Sanctuary begins. In eight weeks we lay the foundations of the faith, so you know what you believe, why you believe it and how to live it every day.

It is for everyone: new believers, people who have just found us, and members who have been around for years but never took it. Every disciple at Word Sanctuary starts here.

Classes are small and practical. You learn with the same group each week, ask your questions freely, and finish ready to make disciples of your own.

A new class starts on the first Sunday of every month. Sundays after service at every installation, or online on Wednesday evenings.

Eight classes, one foundation

One class a week, in order. Miss one and you can catch it with the next group.

  1. Class 1: New life in Christ

    What happened when you gave your life to Jesus, and what it means to be born again.

  2. Class 2: The Holy Spirit

    Who He is, the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and walking with Him every day.

  3. Class 3: The Word of God

    How to read, study and live by the Bible, the final authority for your life.

  4. Class 4: Prayer

    Building a life of prayer: talking with God, hearing Him, and praying in the Spirit.

  5. Class 5: Baptism and communion

    The meaning of the two ordinances Jesus gave the church, and taking part in them.

  6. Class 6: A family for God

    Why you belong to a local church, and how the family of God works together.

  7. Class 7: Kingdom giving

    Tithes, offerings and the joy of being a steward of everything God gives you.

  8. Class 8: Your calling

    Finding your gifts, joining a department and making disciples of your own.

    Graduating from Life Class opens the door to a department, where your gifts build the house.
